To strengthen our portfolio management team, we are looking for an experienced and analytically strong personality who wants to help shape and further develop our equity investments.

Portfolio Manager Equities

Period: Immediately or by arrangement

Workload: 80 – 100%

Your tasks

• Responsibility and management of equity research and equity selection
• Fundamental company analyses
• Active management of equity positions in discretionary mandates
• Further development of the research and selection process, including integration of AI and digital tools
• Support of the Tareno Global Water Solutions Fonds team in equity selection and sustainability
• Active participation in the investment committee in determining investment policy
• Contact person for client advisors and clients for questions regarding equity markets and security selection
• Deputy in the area of sustainability/ESG
• Presentation of investment ideas and portfolio developments in writing and orally, internally as well as towards clients and media

Your profile

You are an experienced and analytically strong personality with proven expertise in fundamental equity analysis and security selection and enjoy making investment decisions independently and representing them convincingly.

• University degree with a focus on economics or finance; CFA, CIIA/AZEK or comparable education and further training
• Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing
• Several years of experience in portfolio management, asset management or equity research
• Demonstrable track record in equity selection and assessment of equity investments
• Sound knowledge in portfolio construction, performance analysis and risk management
• Very good understanding of international capital markets as well as a strong interest in companies and industries as well as economic contexts
• Experience and knowledge in the integration of ESG criteria in the investment process is an advantage
• Analytical, structured and independent way of working with high quality standards
• Ability to analyze complex matters and derive clear investment decisions
• Very good IT skills, openness to new technologies and affinity for AI as well as digital research and analysis tools
• High communication and teamwork skills as well as a confident appearance towards clients and external stakeholders
