This is the contribution you can make

• Lead the department in organizational, technical, and personnel matters together with 5 subordinate group chiefs
• Be responsible for results for logistic service delivery in the area of maintenance and management of C4ISTAR systems
• Perform budget control and department-specific control of logistic external services together with partner organizations
• Be responsible for the further development of your own department within the framework of the maintenance sub-strategy and alignment with the future system portfolio of the army
• Ensure collaboration in the area of system management concepts, innovation projects, arms procurement, or military development projects

This makes you unique

• Completed vocational training with a federal professional certificate in the IT, multimedia, automation, or electronics industry with further specialist training
• Further education in business administration, leadership, or project management
• Knowledge of process management
• Good knowledge of at least one second official language, as well as sound technical English skills
• Military leadership function an advantage

The Logistics Base of the Swiss Army (LBA) is there for the troops. It provides all logistic services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3'500 employees and 12'000 militia members, manages the material, the systems, and the infrastructures of the Swiss Army.
