Proto Chemicals AG is one of the subsidiaries of the internationally active pharmaceutical group Grünenthal GmbH based in Aachen (Germany), a family business with its own research. The focus of our activities is the medicinal treatment of acute and chronic pain. Our production site in Mitlödi in the Canton of Glarus includes a manufacturing plant for the chemical synthesis of active ingredients. HR Generalist / HR Specialist (50–60%) HR Generalist / HR Specialist (50–60%) In this versatile role, you will support the HR team throughout the entire Employee Life Cycle and act as a competent contact person for employees and managers. You will work independently, take on responsibility, and actively contribute to the continuous development of our HR processes. Your tasks Independent management of the entire HR administration from entry to exit Support in the recruitment process (job advertisements, coordination, correspondence) Creation of employment contracts, contract amendments, confirmations, and work certificates Participation in the preparation and coordination of monthly payroll processing as well as contact person for payroll-relevant topics Ensuring the correct processing of social insurance, withholding tax, and other administrative HR processes Support for managers and employees with HR-relevant questions Participation in local and international HR projects Support in the optimization and digitalization of our HR processes Organization and coordination of training, onboarding, and internal HR initiatives General administrative support for the HR department What you bring with you Completed training in the HR field (e.g., HR Fachausweis) or several years of professional experience in Human Resources Several years of experience in a comparable HR generalist function Very good knowledge of personnel administration as well as labor, social insurance, and payroll matters Experience in a payroll environment; ideally, you have already worked with outsourced payroll processing Independent, structured, and precise way of working High discretion as well as a strong sense of responsibility Enjoyment in dealing with people as well as a strong service orientation Very good German language skills in speaking and writing Good English skills; other languages are an advantage Very good MS Office skills; experience with Abacus or comparable HR/payroll systems is a plus What awaits you A versatile and responsible activity with great creative freedom A collegial and appreciative working environment Short decision-making paths and a lot of personal responsibility Collaboration with local and international stakeholders The opportunity to actively shape and develop processes Attractive employment conditions as well as flexible working hours We look forward to getting to know you! jpidc9090b5jm jit0729jm jiy26jm
