Construction Manager Civil and Railway Engineering 80 - 100 %

The company plans, builds and accompanies infrastructure projects from a single source. The Bern location handles demanding projects in civil and railway engineering; the place of deployment for the construction management is in Bern and/or Aargau. In addition to local construction management, the assignment includes tendering, bills of quantities and support for the project management during the planning phase.

Your tasks

• Independent management of construction sites in general civil and railway engineering projects
• Deployment on-site in the Bern and/or Aargau region
• Preparation of tender documents and bills of quantities
• Monitoring of deadlines, costs and quality of the construction execution
• Support of the project managers during the planning phase
• Coordination of the involved contractors, specialist planners and the client
• Application of NPK catalogues for tenders as well as measurements

Your profile

• University degree as a Civil Engineer BSc / MSc (FH / ETH) or equivalent
• Professional experience in the construction management of civil and railway engineering projects
• Experience with NPK catalogues for tenders and measurements
• Independent way of working with high quality standards
• Confident and constructive communication style
• Reliability, creative approaches to solutions and team orientation
