Care Worker or Care Specialist for the Neubad Day Structure

The Verein Robi-Spiel-Aktionen Basel operates 9 school-internal day structures at primary schools in Basel-Stadt on behalf of the Erziehungsdepartement. The voluntary, modularly structured offer includes supplementary care for children during lunch and in the afternoon. To complement our team at the Neubad location, we are looking for, immediately or by arrangement a care worker or care specialist (12-30%) for our location. As a care worker or care specialist, you will take on the following tasks in cooperation with your colleagues: • Independent leading of a children's group • Lunch, homework, and leisure activities with children aged 4 to 13 years • Cooperation within the team, with the school, and parents • Everyday and project planning as well as participation in project developments at the location • Organization and implementation of leisure activities for the children • Completion of a few housekeeping tasks • Assistance with events Requirements profile: • For the function as a care worker, no pedagogical training is required, however, professional experience in working with children is desirable • For the function as a care specialist, an EFZ or equivalent training is required • Willingness to work 2 to 5 weekdays depending on the workload • Enjoyment of working in a large and diverse team • Joy and patience in dealing with children • Open, communicative personality who is flexible, resilient, reliable, and humorous What we offer: • Motivated, cheerful, and collegial team • Personal development with various continuing education opportunities • Salary classification based on the regulations of the Canton Basel-Stadt • Annual working time with 12 non-working weeks per year (analogous to the school holidays of the Canton Basel-Stadt) Does this task in a cheerful and motivated team appeal to you?
