• Further develop the National Poverty Monitoring technically and methodologically through the development of poverty-relevant indicators for cantonal comparisons and trend analyses
• Prepare and analyze extensive, linked administrative datasets using quantitative methods
• Empirically investigate cantonal differences and temporal trends, as well as assess the significance and limitations of the data and indicators used
• Develop reproducible evaluation routines and production processes for the indicators and coordinate them with internal and external partners
• Preparation, interpretation, and communication of results and methodological findings for different stakeholder groups.
• Prepare and evaluate experiences from the pilot project and develop foundations for long-term anchoring

What makes you unique

• University degree (Master or Doctorate) in economics, empirical social sciences, or related field with a strong quantitative focus
• Strong interest in poverty-relevant and social policy issues; experience with regional comparisons or longitudinal analyses is an advantage
• Several years of experience in the analysis of complex individual datasets as well as very good knowledge of quantitative or econometric methods and proven programming skills in a statistics software
• Independent and precise way of working as well as a strong ability to analyze and communicate complex relationships
• Active knowledge of two official languages
