More than 500 committed employees work with great dedication in 7 schools and various specialized services for this responsible task. At the Dietlimoos school, more than 260 pupils attend 3 kindergartens as well as 12 primary classes. The school is well served by public transport. Due to a prolonged absence of the current kitchen management, we are looking for, starting from 21 September 2026, for a fixed term until 31 December 2026 (with option of extension), a(n) Kitchen Manager ## 40 hours per week, i.e., 79.14 % 13 weeks of paid leave per year, during school holidays (already included in the activity rate) Working hours Mon: 07:30 to 16:30 Tue: 07:30 to 16:30 Wed: 08:00 to 14:00- Thu: 07:30 to 16:30 Fri: 07:30 to 16:30 What we expect from you ## For this position, you possess a CFC training as a cook or several years of professional experience in the field of cooking. You have a good command of German orally and in writing and you distinguish yourself by an autonomous, reliable, and structured way of working. Furthermore, you are comfortable with the computer and common digital applications. You are responsible for the regeneration of meals as well as the partially fresh preparation according to the menu composition. You efficiently organize the work processes in the kitchen and ensure a smooth and punctual flow. You direct and support the kitchen assistant in daily professional life. Your other tasks include the planning of menus taking into account cantonal nutritional guidelines, in close collaboration with the daycare management, the purchase and invoicing of food items as well as the rigorous implementation and compliance with legal hygiene regulations. Furthermore, you take charge of the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area.
