Senior IT Systems Engineer (m/w)

Your tasks

• Ensuring the smooth operation of our own worldwide ICT infrastructure and IT services
• Operational partial responsibility in operating our own data centers
• Performing 2nd/3rd level support regarding our ICT infrastructure and its IT services
• Active participation in the further development, standardization, and automation of our ICT infrastructure and processes (worldwide)
• Further development of existing architectures and security concepts based on requirements and existing «Best Practices»
• Project management of national and international IT projects as well as participation in national and international business projects
• Application Manager for a part of the ICT infrastructure core applications and thus responsible for IT Change Mgmt as well as their conceptual and operational documentation
• Ensuring IT security as well as legal requirements when introducing new systems / applications
• Occasional worldwide travel

Your qualifications

• Completed studies at Uni/ETH/FH level (Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar) or comparable professional experience
• Many years of experience in the field of IT infrastructure (integration, configuration, and operation)
• Your high quality standards and your structured way of working allow you to master your tasks independently with confidence and to explore new methods, concepts, and subject areas with curiosity
• Many years of experience, profound knowledge, and certification in the areas of MS Active Directory, GPOs, DFS, DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange, MS SQL, CITRIX Workspace, and VMware
• Knowledge regarding CAD systems, Siemens NX CAD, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Inventor is an advantage
• Team player personality with a high sense of responsibility and quality
• Independent, analytical, and precise working style
• Native German language and very good English skills in spoken and written form
