Job description - As a switchgear fitter, you build and wire control systems for commercial and industrial sectors. - You manufacture control cabinets in various designs. - You take over the mechanical assembly, the wiring and the final inspection. - You check your work and fill out the protocols. - You equip the components according to the electrical schematic. - You wire according to schematics, standards and regulations. - You assemble switchgear. - You carry out plant conversions.
