Our client requests

• Completed basic technical training as an automation technician, polymechanic, mechatronics technician, or in a comparable technical profession
• Further training at HF level is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in an industrial production environment
• Experience in production technology, automation, or plant maintenance is an advantage
• Good knowledge of electrical engineering and automation
• Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal is an advantage
• Very good mechanical understanding
• Experience in the design or optimization of machines, fixtures, and production plants
• Good CAD knowledge
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor is an advantage
• Structured, cost-conscious, and solution-oriented way of working
• High degree of personal responsibility and sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Team-oriented and pragmatic personality
• Pronounced hands-on mentality and enjoyment of solving technical challenges directly at the plant

What awaits you

• Analysis and optimization of machines, fixtures, and production processes
• Development and implementation of technical solutions to increase productivity and process reliability
• Development and optimization of automation solutions for new and existing plants
• Working with PLC, sensor technology, actuator technology, drives, controls, and robotics
• Technical leadership of the team in the area of plant maintenance and production optimization with 2 to 3 employees
• Coordination of maintenance and repair work
• Control and coordination of external partners and service providers
• Support with demanding technical faults
• Analysis and optimization of production processes across several manufacturing steps
• Project management for new machines, equipment, conversions, and automation projects
• Development of technical solutions from the initial concept to successful commissioning
• Creation of functional specifications and technical specifications for new plants and fixtures
• CAD design of fixtures and production plants
• Evaluation of the technical feasibility and economic efficiency of manufacturing processes
• Support in the development and implementation of prototypes and new technical ideas
• Creation of training documents and conducting internal training
• Close cooperation with the technical management, production, and other internal interfaces
