Socio-cultural Specialist / Community Work (80 %) Pro Senectute is the largest private organization in Switzerland in the service of older people. As a modern nonprofit organization, we actively promote and support the independence and quality of life of seniors with numerous services in social counseling, in the areas of fiduciary+taxes, help at home, as well as education+sport. In the area of Municipality/Project Consulting, we are looking for you as of 1. November or by arrangement as Socio-cultural Specialist / Community Work (80 %) Our specialist unit «Municipality/Project Consulting» supports municipalities, institutions and committed persons in the Canton of Luzern to create age-appropriate living spaces – adapted to local needs and challenges. The focus is on projects that strengthen social relationships, promote movement and encounters, support health competencies and enable older people to participate, be independent and have well-being. Your tasks Consulting and accompanying municipalities, institutions and organizations on age-related issues Collaboration on age strategies and mission statements for age-appropriate, health-promoting living spaces on behalf of municipalities, public institutions and private actors Development, planning and implementation of projects with a focus on prevention, resource orientation, social participation and quality of life in old age Conception and implementation of participatory processes, workshops, lectures and events Elaboration of technical foundations and reports for clients Coordination, networking and administrative support in projects of age and community work Your profile Education in Socio-cultural Animation FH, Community Animation HF or comparable qualification Experience or strong interest in age-related issues, community work, social services and local development processes Ability to plan, implement and document strategic processes, projects and events in a structured manner Service-oriented appearance and enjoyment of working with municipalities, organizations, volunteers and older people Organizational skills, teamwork skills as well as independent, responsible and efficient working methods Good Microsoft-365 knowledge Our offer Meaningful activity in a socially relevant field of work surrounding age, participation and quality of life Varied tasks at the interface of consulting, project work, networking, events and administration Creative freedom and the opportunity to actively develop services and offers Supportive team, further training opportunities and contemporary working conditions at the Luzern location We look forward to your application (incl. cover letter).
