We collaborate with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the life sciences and fluid control industries to improve the performance of their equipment, thereby contributing to accelerating scientific research, diagnosing diseases more quickly, improving medical treatments, and making machines more efficient, for the considerable benefit of all.* *Our team, united and fair, works efficiently, but above all in collaboration, to preserve the foundations that have ensured IMI's success over its more than 150 years of history.* *We are looking for our site at FAS Medic SA in Palézieux, Vaud, a Maintenance Technician* Roles / Responsibilities • Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance plans for machines and tools. • Implement and promote a safety culture: proper use of PPE, LOTO, reporting of hazardous conditions, participation in risk analyses, etc. • Participate in the continuous improvement of equipment. • Analyze the root causes of breakdowns and identify potential improvements. • Identify and report technical improvement opportunities for facilities. • Inform the management system according to the activities carried out. • Participate in the creation and updating of technical procedures. • Ensure the activities of the defined sector as a leader during annual maintenance. • Participate in the continuous improvement of the sector using TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tools. • Coordinate interventions in collaboration with production. Profile • Industrial systems technician or equivalent, CFC Automatician, BTS MAI or equivalent. • Experience desired in industrial maintenance • Good knowledge of API (Schneider and Beckhoff preferred) • Good knowledge of robots (Staubli preferred) • In-depth understanding of complex production facilities. • Knowledge of TPM • Machining skills are a plus. • Flexibility and availability to work in shifted hours, on call or in shifts (2*8) if necessary. • Basic computer skills: Word, Excel • Autonomous and responsible • Terrain-oriented who likes human contact, technique, and quality • Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills. • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. • Team spirit and collaborative • Resilience and good stress resistance • Languages: French, English is a plus • Preference will be given to candidates residing near our Palézieux site Health and Safety At IMI, we are all personally committed to protecting our employees, minimizing our impact on the environment, on the communities in which we operate, and on our company.
