Project Director – Major Infrastructure Projects M/F

You will take charge of the overall direction of large-scale projects, from the establishment of their organization to the steering of their execution. Your responsibility covers the overall consistency of the project and the ability of the teams to meet their commitments.

Your main missions:

• Define project governance, roles, and responsibilities, notably by means of a RACI matrix.
• Coordinate work package managers, specialists, and key stakeholders.
• Drive the general schedule, anticipate risks, and define necessary actions.
• Supervise contractual, budgetary, and scheduling issues.
• Defend the company's interests with the client, notably during discussions relating to additional deadlines or financial compensation.
• Support the scaling up of teams, unite employees, and manage the tensions inherent to complex projects.
• Proven experience in directing complex and large-scale projects or programs.
• Strong skills in project governance, team management, risk management, and contractual steering.
• Ability to take a step back, to arbitrate, and to maintain team mobilization in a demanding environment.
• Mastery of French and English.
• Technical expertise in a particular discipline is not the main criterion: experience in overall project direction will be decisive.
• Location: Genève, Suisse.
• Rhythm: 5 days per week.
• Type of collaboration: recruitment or independent consulting mission.
