CNC Setter / CNC Programmer Turning & Milling (m/f/d) – 100 %

Work location: Kanton Glarus

Start date: By arrangement or January 2027

Working hours: Normal shift / Day operation

Your tasks

• Independent setting up, programming and operating of CNC turning and milling machines
• Creating, adjusting and optimizing CNC programs with FANUC control
• Manufacturing of small series, individual parts and prototypes
• Independent running-in of new workpieces and optimizing existing manufacturing processes
• Ensuring the required quality through dimensional and quality controls
• Monitoring and optimizing of machining processes
• Collaboration with design and manufacturing on technical issues
• Ensuring timely and high-quality production

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as Polymechaniker EFZ, Produktionsmechaniker EFZ or comparable technical qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in CNC turning and/or CNC milling
• Sound knowledge in the independent setting up and programming of CNC machines
• Very good knowledge of FANUC controls, especially in adjusting and optimizing programs
• Experience in the manufacturing of small series, individual parts and prototypes
• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Independent, precise and quality-conscious way of working
• Good German skills
