The ICT Operations Manager is the professional figure who designs, manages, and controls the entire ICT infrastructure of a specific company.

The ICT Operations Manager is the professional figure who designs, manages, and controls the entire ICT infrastructure of a specific company.
Among his/her responsibilities, one can mention:

• The identification of any inefficiencies in the systems in use, providing timely solutions;
• The definition of project times and costs;
• The coordination of teams that develop and manage the components of the ICT infrastructure.

Furthermore, he/she ensures that the company possesses the ICT structures and services it needs and that improvements and new implementations comply with company standards.
Among the main tasks that the ICT Operations Manager finds himself/herself performing are:

• Supervising the systems and infrastructures under his/her responsibility, subjecting them to periodic tests;
• Establishing the overall workflow and deadlines for the various teams he/she coordinates;
• Monitoring the progress of projects;
• Defining the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) that each team should complete;
• Verifying the operational efficiency of the ICT processes of the entire company;
• Managing any technical problems related to the ICT infrastructure;
• Ensuring that all ICT services are correctly subjected to security measures;
• Establishing which improvements can be made to the systems;
