Industrial Painter / Quality Assurance Employee Painting Department

Activity

• Carrying out paint inspections on vehicles, front cabins and attachment parts according to the defined inspection process
• Creation and management of production and test certificates for rail vehicles
• Supporting production with masking, sanding and painting work
• Technical contact person for internal and external bodies regarding coated vehicles and components
• Training and induction of new employees as well as continuous further training of existing employees
• Ensuring and further developing quality standards in the coating area
• Analysis, monitoring and continuous optimization of coating and painting processes
• Development and implementation of solution concepts in cooperation with suppliers and internal specialist departments
• Transferring theoretical requirements, standards and specifications into practical processes and work instructions
• Regular reporting to the department manager
• Carrying out business trips within Europe to accompany projects, suppliers, complaints and inspections (approx. 20 %)

Requirements

• Completed basic training as a Carrosserie- or Industrielackierer EFZ, ideally with experience in an industrial environment
• Several years of professional experience in the field of wet paint and powder coating
• Experience in handling GFK components is an advantage
• Further training in the field of quality management or quality assurance is an advantage
• Good IT user skills, especially in MS Office programs
• Good German skills in spoken and written (at least level B1), further foreign language skills are an advantage
• Driving license category B mandatory
• Willingness to travel within Europe (approx. 20 %)
• Strong quality awareness as well as high attention to detail
• Networked way of thinking and the ability to implement theoretical specifications into practical solutions
