Embedded Software Engineer C/C++ Industry and Defence

Tasks * You work on long-lived, safety-critical systems with high reliability, traceability and software quality * You analyze demanding requirements and develop innovative embedded solutions in C/C++ * You design software and system architectures and accompany the solutions from specification through implementation to integration and verification * You ensure software quality through code reviews, unit and integration tests as well as traceable technical documentation * You assist in the further development of modern development, build, test and CI/CD environments * You work closely with our customers and expert teams, depending on the project at our locations or directly at the customer Qualifications * University degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable technical field * Several years of experience in the development of application and embedded software with C/C++ * Sound knowledge in software engineering methods such as UML, Design Patterns and Clean Code as well as with Git * Experience with unit and integration tests; knowledge of Python as well as in automated build, test or CI/CD environments is an advantage * Enjoyment of technical responsibility and co-designing complex systems * Advantageous: knowledge in Secure Coding, Cyber Security for Embedded Systems, QT/QML, Embedded Linux, Yocto and RTOS as well as in Functional Safety according to IEC 61508 * Very good German and English skills Become one of us We maintain an appreciative corporate culture, communicating openly and honestly with each other.
