ServiceNow Engineer (a)

As a ServiceNow Engineer, you are co-responsible for the secure and reliable operation and the continuous further development of the platform and applications. In our On-Premise environment, you can additionally contribute your know-how with databases and Linux.

A diverse and varied environment awaits you. You will work as a ServiceNow Engineer in a small, agile team of specialists. You analyze requirements and problem statements, work on finding solutions, and implement them within the team.

What excites you

• You define and implement stories based on operational requirements and projects
• You create workflows as well as integrations and work closely with both internal specialist teams and customers
• You ensure the secure and reliable operation of the ServiceNow On-Premise platform and carry out upgrades, clones, and further developments
• You support our ServiceNow users in 2nd and 3rd level support
• You work closely with our implementation partners on larger projects

What you bring

• You have several years of practical experience as a ServiceNow Administrator and developer. Ideally, you possess a CSA certification or other ServiceNow certificates and have a sound IT education
• You are familiar with ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, ITOM/Discovery, integrations (REST, LDAP, SSO, MID Server) as well as automations with Flow Designer and workflows
• You bring sound JavaScript knowledge; knowledge in Bash, PowerShell, and SQL is an advantage
• Ideally, you have already actively accompanied a migration from ServiceNow On-Premise to the cloud (SaaS) and were able to gain initial experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Microsoft Azure. Knowledge in MariaDB is an advantage
• You work in a customer-oriented, independent, and responsible manner, are a team player, and enjoy acquiring new knowledge that you use purposefully
