Customs Declarant for IT Support

Apply Initial Situation ### A person is being sought for the technical and functional support of a customs system who knows customs processes firsthand and simultaneously brings enjoyment to IT topics. In this role, you combine your practical knowledge from import and export clearance with analytical thinking and technical curiosity. You support users, test new functions, accompany updates, and actively contribute to the further development of the application. Ideal for customs declarants* who want to take the step towards IT without losing the connection to the operational business. Vacancy No. 6650 ## Tasks ### • supporting users with functional and technical questions regarding the customs system • analyzing and tracing error messages, ambiguities, and special cases • testing new functions, releases, and system adjustments • documenting solutions, processes, and recurring topics • collaborating with IT, software partners, and internal specialist departments • participating in process optimizations and further developments of the application • training employees as well as accompanying system implementations and updates Requirements ### • completed training as a customs declarant* or freight forwarding agent • several years of experience in import and/or export clearance • good knowledge of customs-relevant processes • high IT affinity, interest in system processes and technical understanding Informatics ### MS-Office - good knowledge Experience with application support or testing is an advantage Languages ### German: m+s very good English: m+s very good Start Date ### short-term or by arrangement Work Location ### Region Schaffhausen Special ### You operate at an exciting interface between practice and technology.
