For the kantonalen Arbeitslosenkasse (ALK), we are looking for a dedicated, service-oriented, and conscientious personality. The ALK is responsible for examining applications as well as the payment of insurance benefits (unemployment, insolvency, short-time work, and bad weather compensation).

Your tasks

• You clarify eligibility for unemployment compensation, calculate the scope of benefits, and record the relevant data.
• You examine possible sanctions and, if necessary, issue suspensions according to the legal requirements of AVIG and ATSG.
• You trigger first and second payments and thereby ensure the correct payment of insurance benefits.
• You answer inquiries from insured persons, employers, social insurance institutions, and other involved bodies in person at the counter, by telephone, or in writing.
• You work closely with the various departments of the WAS Sozialversicherungszentrum as well as with internal and external specialist offices.
• You support the team management in day-to-day business.

Your competencies

• You have completed vocational training, preferably a commercial apprenticeship or a comparable training.
• You bring professional experience and knowledge in the field of social or private insurance and have ideally deepened these through corresponding further training.
• You work independently, carefully, and responsibly and are prepared to make demanding decisions.
• You convince through your communication skills, your negotiation skills, and a respectful, appreciative attitude.
• You enjoy contact with different stakeholder groups and are service-oriented.
