We are looking for a\*n Head of Department Procurement Investments (m/w/d) for our Endress+Hauser Flow, who will drive the strategic further development of investment procurement and actively shape the future of our production site.   What does the job entail? Then this position offers you the chance to take on a central role in the further development of our supply chain strategy. As Head of Department, you will lead a team of seven employees, work closely with strategic Purchasing Managers as well as technical and operational interfaces, and sustainably shape the procurement landscape within our Flow production center. What tasks will you take on? You will: • take over the strategic and operational management of the Sourcing Indirect department (including procurement of investments, MRO, facilities management, IT services, auxiliary and operating materials) - including leadership, coaching, and further development of seven employees. • shape the future of the department and further develop an innovation-oriented purchasing strategy. • take responsibility for the orientation of the commodity group and supplier strategy. • be responsible for suppliers at the Reinach site and support supplier development in the regions China, India, USA, and France. • work across departments with strategic Purchasing Managers as well as with construction, manufacturing, and industrial engineering departments. • develop optimized processes and ensure the efficient integration of suppliers into project processes. What do we expect from you? You: • have a university degree with a technical background - ideally supplemented by a management education (e.g. MBA, MAS in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification). • have several years of experience in supply chain management of a producing industrial company. • have at least five years of leadership experience and proven successes in team development. • possess pronounced strategic, methodical, and innovative competencies. • have in-depth experience in project business as well as in indirect purchasing. • have very good German language skills and negotiation-secure English. • convince through organizational talent, social competence, and a healthy ability to assert yourself.
