YOUR TASKS

• Responsibility for the conception, operation, and further development of our global backup infrastructure
• Ensuring a stable, secure, and highly available backup operation at enterprise level
• Definition, implementation, and compliance with backup standards, guidelines, and processes
• Support and further development of the storage and server virtualization areas in the context of data backup
• Documentation of the systems as well as collaboration on cross-cutting IT projects and concepts

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed training or studies in the IT field
• Several years of profound and demonstrable experience in the backup environment - this is mandatory
• Very good knowledge of backup technologies and architectures (e.g., Commvault, Veeam, Rubrik or similar)
• Solid knowledge in the areas of storage and server virtualization
• Sense of responsibility, structured and independent way of working
• Enjoyment of teamwork, initiative, and co-creation
• Readiness for occasional travel
