Attached to the Youth Domain of the Service quartiers, jeunesse et familles, the Permanence Jeunes Borde (PJB) is the socio-cultural center for 10-25 year olds in the Borde district and its surroundings. A friendly welcoming place, the PJB offers free and organized activities, supports young people in their projects and directs them toward the City's resources.

Missions #####

• Ensure the organization of the welcome of young people (10-25 years old) at the PJB and the conduct of socio-educational activities
• Design, prepare, organize, and evaluate socio-educational and pedagogical activities, with and for young people, based on their needs and interests
• Accompany and support young people in the development and realization of their projects (personal, school, and professional)
• Carry out prevention actions, identify situations of vulnerability or difficulty, and direct young people toward appropriate resources and partners
• Supervise auxiliary monitors according to the internal organization
• Develop relations with external partners and animate the neighborhood network
• Contribute to the management of the PJB by actively participating in meetings and undertaking the related administrative tasks

Profile #####

• HES Bachelor in social work or socio-cultural animation or a title deemed equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar position with children and adolescents
• Good knowledge of collective reception venues and group dynamics
• Knowledge of the Lausanne and Romand socio-cultural environment
• Dynamic personality, sense of communication
• Ability to manage social crisis situations
• Excellent sense of organization and priority management
• Team spirit
• Mastery of MS Office tools
