Dental Assistant EFZ (KO/KZM)

The Zentrum für Zahnmedizin der Universität Zürich is one of the four university dental centers in Switzerland and comprises five clinics, a research institute, and a central administration. The center employs around 380 employees.

The Klinik für Kieferorthopädie und Kinderzahnmedizin has several focal points: It serves the training and further education of dentists in orthodontics (diagnosis and appliance-based treatment of dental and jaw malocclusions in persons of all ages) or in pediatric dentistry (supplement to pediatric care for special diagnostics in the oral area, for children with dental accidents, disabilities, or severe general illnesses). For patients with malformations or other complex problems, it offers specialized care in close cooperation with other clinics of the Zentrum für Zahnmedizin, the Universitätsspital, and the Universitäts-Kinderklinik.

For the senior physician's practice and the patients of the professor in the Abteilung Kieferorthopädie of our clinic, we are looking for a committed personality.

Dental Assistant EFZ (KO/KZM)

Tasks

• Chairside assistance, patient care
• Patient administration: patient registration, service recording, appointment coordination
• Maintenance and archiving of patient files - digital
• Ensuring practice hygiene
• Supervision of apprentices

Profile

You have completed training as a Dentalassistentin EFZ and have several years of professional experience. Knowledge of orthodontic treatment processes is an advantage. You are proactive, courteous, and enjoy working in a large team. Our patients, who come from different cultures, are cared for by you with empathy and a high willingness to provide service thanks to your friendly and patient nature.
