Electrical Engineer Standardization

You are responsible for the standardization of electrotechnical components and preferred assortments in mechanical and plant engineering. In doing so, you will work closely with purchasing, production, and other locations.

Tasks

• Definition and maintenance of a standardized preferred assortment for cables, lines, protective and switching devices, as well as connectors
• Technical evaluation and selection of new components and suppliers considering standards
• Introduction of new components in cooperation with purchasing
• Reduction of variants and ensuring consistent engineering standards
• Creation and further development of work instructions, guidelines, and best practices
• Identification and implementation of optimization potentials regarding costs, quality, and efficiency

Profile

• Completed training in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in electrical planning, project planning, or circuit diagram creation
• Experience in mechanical or plant engineering is an advantage
• Very good knowledge in the design of electrotechnical components
• Experience with complex technical interfaces and interdisciplinary project teams
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
