A Construction Manager

Key information about the position:

• Contract type: Indefinite duration contract at 100%.
• Schedule: regular hours, from Monday to Friday.
• Start date: to be agreed.
• Location: Rue du Châble-Bet 41, 1920 Martigny. Construction sites mainly located in Valais.

Your mission:

You manage the execution of our construction sites, from preparation to the handing over of keys. As the reference contact for all stakeholders, you are the guarantor of compliance with deadlines, budgets, and quality.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all trades on your construction sites
• Prepare calls for tender, analyze bids, and prepare adjudications
• Ensure the financial monitoring of projects: budgets, progress reports, amendments, and final accounts
• Lead site meetings and ensure follow-up
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety rules on site
• Organize project handovers, site inspections, and follow-up on touch-ups
• Support the purchasers of our developments in their choices and value-added options
• Work hand in hand with the group companies, which carry out a large part of the work.

Your profile:

We are looking for a structured and autonomous person, capable of managing several sites simultaneously without losing track and who knows how to remain calm when an unforeseen event occurs. You enjoy the field as much as management, and you have a sense of contact with both clients and subcontractors. To succeed in this role, you possess the following skills and qualities:

Solid site experience. Training in the construction field:

CFC in building, technician, construction manager, architect or equivalent

• Ability to read and understand plans
• Ability to maintain a budget
• Sense of organization
• Ease with IT
• Excellent command of French (written and oral). Driving license indispensable
