The contribution you can make

• Independently manage the storage, picking, and transfer of textiles and military material according to the rules of the art
• Prepare, pack, and ship military material for shipment according to the rules of the art
• Perform checks on material and conditions to ensure correct storage appropriate to the type of material
• Provide support in the return of equipment by units, as well as in the case of initial equipment and discharge of military personnel
• Manage MBAS material, including delivery control, unpacking, palletizing, storage, and preparation for shipment
• Perform triage and size selection of unused military fabrics, as well as their correct re-entry into the warehouse

What distinguishes you

• Initial training in the craft sector and/or solid practical knowledge in the assigned field of activity
• Ability to establish priorities and to work in a rapid, meticulous, and well-organized manner
• Motivation to learn, ability to work in a team, flexibility, resistance to stress, and spirit of collaboration
• Customer-oriented attitude
• Basic knowledge of SAP is welcome
• Willingness to be armed for one's own protection is welcome

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistic services in favor of the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructures of the Swiss Army.
