Your tasks

• You ensure the operation of the operating and safety equipment of the cantonal roads - at all times
• You plan and manage maintenance and service measures - in an efficient and proactive manner
• You independently carry out controls, inspections, repairs as well as technical analyses - supported by external specialists
• You actively participate in projects - your practical experience is required
• You guarantee a rapid and competent resolution of breakdowns as part of the standby service - also at night and on weekends

Your profile

• You have a CFC training in the field of electrical engineering or automation with at least 5 years of professional experience
• You are interested and eager to learn, we do not say no to your practical-oriented continuing technical training
• You are mobile (driving license category B)
• You are familiar with the maintenance, operation or installation of installations
• You work in a structured, autonomous and solution-oriented manner

Your working environment

The public works service plans, builds and maintains the cantonal road network in the canton of Zug. Other tasks include hydraulic construction as well as partial functions in the fields of traffic technology and construction police.

The maintenance of roads includes the following tasks :

• Operation and maintenance without project of the cantonal roads
• Construction, maintenance and operation of the operating and safety equipment
• Opening of trenches / concessions of pipes in the public space
