We are a non-profit foundation with a wide range of residential services and day structures for people with disabilities. For the intensive residential sector, we are looking for a Specialist in Care - Temporary (50-80%) to strengthen our team, effective immediately, with the option for extension or permanent employment. People live in the intensive residential group who, due to their disability, are dependent on individually adapted support and guidance in their everyday lives. Everyday life is aligned with the respective needs of the residents with the goal of the highest possible quality of life. This versatile, exciting, and demanding care task requires a high degree of social competence and teamwork skills. Your area of responsibility • Care and guidance of people with cognitive disabilities and challenging behaviors • Individual guidance, care, assistance, and nursing of the residents in their living environment and support in participation in social life, taking their daily condition into account • Collaboration in agogic process design • Documentation of care processes What distinguishes you • Ideally, you have a degree as a Specialist in Healthcare, Specialist in Care, or in Social Pedagogy. • Career changers with appropriate professional experience in guidance, care, or nursing are also very welcome. • You appreciate working in individual settings or small groups. You consider consultations and coordination within the team as an important and binding foundation in your work. • Flexible, situation-dependent reacting does not easily upset you. Discussing situations afterwards is a professional self-conception for you. • Your attitude towards people with cognitive and mental disabilities is characterized by appreciation and openness. Your interest in getting to the bottom of the functions of behaviors shapes your work.
