The focus is on central digital and physical touchpoints between ZKB and its customers, which connect needs with technology, processes, user experience, security, and operations. This includes, among others, eBanking, Mobile Banking, as well as digital opening, onboarding, and lifecycle processes.

As part of its Mobile-First strategy, ZKB is driving the modernization of Mobile Banking. Specialized development teams work on new functions and the technical further development of the banking app. The central system team ensures a stable, scalable platform, further develops the shared codebase, and supports the feature teams with technical standards and know-how.

To strengthen this team, we are looking for you as a Senior Mobile Software Engineer for our ZKB Mobile Banking App.

Your challenge

• You further develop the mobile banking app and its shared codebase using Kotlin Multiplatform as well as native iOS and Android technologies
• You strengthen the technical platform regarding stability, performance, and scalability
• You ensure high software quality through Clean Code, automated tests, code reviews, and quality gates
• You further develop build and CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane as well as tooling with Gradle and Sonar
• You support the feature teams with technical expertise, development standards, and best practices
• You are responsible for the integration of new features and coordinate the shared app releases
• You work closely with the eBanking-Web system team

Your qualities and talents

• Sound IT education; further training in the field of software development is an advantage
• Several years of experience in mobile development at a senior level or expert level
• Very good iOS knowledge with Swift/SwiftUI as well as very good experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Android knowledge is an advantage
• Broad technical understanding of mobile architectures, APIs, and backend integration
• Experience with mobile architecture and state management patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Redux
• Knowledge in Clean Code, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD as well as a basic understanding of mobile security
• Communicative, pragmatic, and team-oriented personality with pleasure in knowledge exchange
• German language skills at native level
