Production Mechanic / Production Mechanic

To strengthen our technical team at our production site in Niederbipp, we are looking for a reliable, committed, and technically skilled personality for the maintenance, servicing, and technical support of our production systems, starting November 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Planning and carrying out periodic maintenance work
• Assisting with and independently carrying out repair work on production systems with control systems and PLC controls
• Ordering and managing spare parts and operating materials
• Deputy responsibility for production planning including implementation and monitoring
• Documentation of performed work and technical adjustments
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legal requirements
• Cooperation with internal specialist departments as well as external partners
• Taking over various administrative activities

Your profile

• Completed basic technical training, e.g., as a production mechanic, automation technician, automation fitter, or in a comparable profession
• Experience in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of production systems or technical facilities
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and control technology
• Understanding of technical drawings, diagrams, and maintenance documentation
• Independent, reliable, and responsible way of working
• Teamwork skills, flexibility, and resilience
• Readiness for shift work or assignments outside of regular production times, if required
• Good German skills in spoken and written form
• Safety- and quality-conscious working
