The Personalamt of the Canton of Zürich is responsible for all personnel, labor, and social insurance law issues for the over 30'000 employees of the Canton of Zürich. The Human Resources Management (HRM) department includes a large number of tasks and is part of the Personalamt. HR consulting, basic vocational training, employer branding, and case management are at the center of the work.

Our team - your new challenge?
We are the HR Consulting team of the Finanzdirektion: seven HR Business Partners and four recruiters. Together, we accompany managers and employees along the entire HR life cycle. The HR Business Partners take over comprehensive consulting and support, while the recruiting team professionally accompanies the recruitment process and supports in all matters of personnel acquisition.

We work with diverse stakeholders and actively help shape the further development of our HR processes. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced personality who advises managers at eye level, takes on responsibility, and feels comfortable in a versatile and dynamic environment.

Your tasks ###

• Advising managers: You are the first point of contact for managers in your area of responsibility and advise them competently on all HR topics along the entire HR life cycle - from personnel planning and salary determination to labor law issues and demanding change and leadership situations.
• Case Management and recruitment: In addition to your consulting function, you take over the clarification of complex personnel cases and work closely with the internal case management. For selected, demanding positions, you accompany recruitments independently in cooperation with the recruiting team.
• Thinking HR further: You actively contribute to the further development of our HR processes, participate in projects, and help shape the HR future of the cantonal administration with your expertise.

Your profile ###

• Professional competence and experience: You have further training in HR, at least at the level of HR-Fachausweis, and bring several years of experience as an HR Business Partner. You have already worked in complex organizations in your professional daily life and move confidently in an environment with different stakeholders and clear legal and organizational framework conditions.
• Personality with profile: Keeping calm, creating clarity, and finding solutions - that is your strength. You trust your abilities, act independently and responsibly, and bring a good sense of cooperation.
• Heart and humor: With a passion for HR management, empathy, and a good dose of humor, you enrich our team.
