Pflegefachperson HF/FH The Universitätsklinik für Forensische Psychiatrie und Psychologie offers inpatient, day-inpatient, outpatient, and outreach services for female and male patients with psychiatric illnesses who are undergoing treatment due to deprivation of liberty or based on court-ordered measures. Female and male patients are also treated on a civil legal basis if the disorder suggests treatment in forensic psychiatry due to the expertise available there. Your tasks You will take over the holistic care and support of patients with psychiatric clinical pictures in penal execution You promote and support learners and students from various training areas You actively contribute to the improvement of nursing quality and the further development of the nursing profession You work closely in an interprofessional team You implement milieu therapeutic approaches for the patients' everyday life organization Your profile You have several years of experience in the forensic-psychiatric field and/or in acute psychiatry You bring high resilience and social competence You have experience in primary nursing (Bezugspersonenarbeit) and in the implementation of the nursing process You have interest and experience in aggression management and de-escalation You are interested in working with patient groups in a milieu therapeutic setting You are motivated for a partnership-based, interdisciplinary collaboration You master the German language and can ideally communicate in Swiss German or English in a business context The UPZ The Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum Bern (UPZ) is, as a university clinic, the leading competence center for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region.
