Junior Sous Chef

To strengthen our team, we are looking for, by arrangement, a: Junior Sous Chef (m/w/d) In the versatile and responsible function as Junior Sous Chef, the following activities are part of your area of responsibility: • Support in the planning and organization of daily kitchen processes • Determination of food requirements and execution of goods orders • Cooperation in the design of offers and menus in coordination with supervisors • Responsibility for a smooth production process from mise en place to service • Ensuring a constantly high food quality according to our standards • Compliance with all hygiene regulations as well as food law provisions • Professional handling of machines, devices, and work equipment • Control of goods receipt and quality of delivered products • Quality control of the plated dishes at the pass (recipe adherence, taste, presentation) • Motivation, guidance, and support of the kitchen brigade and participants • Participation in the training of apprentices and the further development of the team • Responsible cooperation in cleaning and organizational standards in the entire kitchen You bring these qualities with you: • Completed training as Koch EFZ (or comparable training) • Professional experience in gastronomy • Initial leadership experience is an advantage • Strong quality awareness and love for detail • Organizational strength and a high sense of responsibility • Social competence, role model function, and a motivating way of working • Teamwork skills and enjoyment of working together in an international brigade • Very good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness • Creative, innovative as well as resilient and flexible • Reliable, structured, and careful way of working • Very good language skills in German, ideally French/ and English skills Would you like to become part of a dynamic and motivated team?
