The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection molded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling, including metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible internally. This way, we remain agile, independent and efficient.

What you can accomplish:

Secure and cost-optimized stock planning for the Commercial Goods product group

Order processing with the ERP system for new and existing items

Verification of order confirmations

Ensuring delivery dates / follow-up on delivery dates

Processing error messages

Processing and implementation of eForms (change notifications, item integrations)

Registration and monitoring of quantity contracts

Management of article master data in the ERP

Obtaining and evaluating offers in consultation with strategic purchasing

Participation in optimization projects in purchasing

Participation in supplier evaluation

Verification and approval of supplier invoices

Compliance with processes, governance and compliance

What you bring:

Completed basic commercial training or technical training with additional commercial training

Additional training as a purchasing specialist or in supply chain management

Experience as an operational buyer in an industrial environment

Reliable personality with an entrepreneurial mindset

Autonomous, structured and conscientious way of working

Personal initiative, negotiation skills and ability to persuade

Open, communicative and upright person

Team spirit

Very good knowledge of ERP and Office

Proficiency in German and English, spoken and written, minimum level B2
