September 2026 or by arrangement, a Social Worker FH (m/f/d) Accompanying and advising committed persons during pretrial detention with the goal of psychosocial stabilization and orientation Administrative and organizational responsibility for the admission procedure Provision of material assistance and support in clarifying central areas of life and taking over the necessary correspondence with authorities Interdisciplinary cooperation with internal and external specialist agencies and coordination of demand-oriented support offers Ensuring a structured case handover in the event of transfers, early clarification of follow-up solutions together with the committed persons Training in Social Work (University of Applied Sciences) or several years of professional experience in social work Positive attitude towards penal enforcement, positive view of humanity and no fear of contact with people from other cultural backgrounds Communicative and flexible personality, good integration into a team and at the same time accustomed to working independently Resilience, natural authority and ability to maintain good boundaries a professional and motivated team modern infrastructure, flexible and family-friendly working hours interdisciplinary cooperation diverse training and further education opportunities Silvio Fausch, Co-Leader Regional Prison Altstätten Information about penal enforcement at: jpid555f4b5jm jit0623jm jiy26jm
