For our ward KJP-1 (acute area and area for START NOW treatment), we are looking for you as a Senior Physician (Female) / Senior Physician (Male) 80-100% per 1. September 2026 or by arrangement. In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr. med. Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The clinic's integrated range of treatments includes an outpatient area with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed across the canton, a consultation and liaison service, and an inpatient area with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic, and a clinic school. The teams consist of clinical specialists from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing and social pedagogy, and in the clinic school, teachers and special education teachers. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a certified Category A training facility. Profile - You hold a specialist title in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy FMH, are about to complete it, or have an equivalent MEBEKO-recognized qualification - You have leadership training or are willing to complete such - You promote interdisciplinary work and are open to integrative therapy concepts - You are characterized by initiative, high social competence, and situation-appropriate communication as well as flexibility and resilience Tasks - You lead the acute ward and ensure operations from a technical, administrative, and economic perspective - Together with the co-management team for nursing/social pedagogy, you lead a staff of medical, psychological, nursing, and social pedagogical professionals in an interdisciplinary team - You recruit new employees, support, develop, and qualify your team - You work together with the general management of the inpatient area, as well as other departments of the KJP and external partners - You contribute to the overarching development of institutional and professional attitudes and implement them in your team - You participate in the on-call emergency service of the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Benefits Our employees are the heart of our company.
