Project Manager: Mobility and Planning These are your tasks: You independently manage projects of traffic and mobility planning, develop strategies, concepts and preliminary studies, and accompany your projects partially into implementation, always from the first idea to the development of variants to decision-making maturity. You commission and technically manage external planning and engineering offices, keep an eye on deadlines, costs and quality, and mediate between different interest groups to ensure targeted project development. Together with your colleagues, you also take over the operational and administrative management as well as the strategic planning of the Frauenfeld city bus service. In doing so, you develop solutions for the vehicle and stop infrastructure of the city bus, strategically design the timetable and service, and contribute to the smooth operation of public transport with forward-looking planning. In all these tasks, you represent the city as a concession holder vis-à-vis various stakeholder groups and the population. Last but not least, you prepare decision-making bases for the city council and commissions, represent the city's mobility concerns externally, and work on cross-departmental projects. This makes you a significant contributor to the maintenance and further development of the city of Frauenfeld's infrastructure. This is what you bring: You have a completed degree in traffic planning, spatial planning, civil engineering or a comparable education and ideally already have professional experience in traffic or mobility planning. You have already managed projects, coordinated external contractors, and acquired knowledge in public transport. You think in a networked and solution-oriented way, convince through negotiating skills in dealing with different stakeholder groups, and are characterized by a high degree of independence and a structured approach to work.
