For the Mattertal tunnel, which will ensure in the future the year-round public transport connection between Täsch and Zermatt, we are betting on BIM in planning. For this, we are looking for a proactive personality in Brig/Glisergrund and/or Täsch/Zermatt as the Mattertal tunnel manager (m/f/d).

Your area of action ##

• You assume the overall direction of the project on the client side for the Mattertal tunnel project, from planning to execution to commissioning
• You lead an interdisciplinary team composed of internal employees and external partners and work actively in the management team of the infrastructure sector
• You lead, coordinate and supervise the planning, tendering and construction work and are responsible for communication with the authorities as well as with external stakeholders
• You ensure project management in accordance with the BVZ/MGB group project management concept and ensure compliance with budget, deadlines and quality, while taking charge of contract and amendment management
• You participate in other railway infrastructure projects, mainly in the field of tunnel construction (depending on availability)

Your profile ##

• You possess an engineering degree in construction or electricity from a university or a university of applied sciences, or an equivalent training - ideally supplemented by continuing education in business management and project management
• Proven professional experience in the management of large construction projects, ideally in the field of tunnels and railways, is indispensable
• You have a very good technical understanding, in-depth knowledge of railway infrastructure and a great interest in the mobility of the future
• You demonstrate a lot of initiative, a strong capacity for implementation, connected and developed entrepreneurial thinking as well as great social competence
• You are a charismatic person with good communication skills
• As a resilient personality with a reliable way of working, you have already been able to demonstrate your experience in project management and direction in a similar sector
