Our client is an innovative Swiss high-tech company in the Swiss Mittelland and part of a world-leading, internationally active group. It develops, manufactures, and optimizes high-precision measuring systems for chemical analysis. In doing so, it supports research institutions and industrial customers worldwide with demanding applications. Thanks to international subsidiaries, the company combines Swiss precision with global reach, thereby contributing to a cleaner world. To specifically further develop the quality, regulatory, and information security systems and to continue to successfully meet the increasing requirements of customers, authorities, and the group, we are looking for a structured, implementation-strong personality as a Quality Manager.

Your area of responsibility

• Development, implementation, and maintenance of the quality and regulatory systems that ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of the company's products, services, and activities
• Ensuring compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards (ISO 9001 as well as, where applicable, UL and CSA)
• Functioning as the management representative for the quality systems and as a competent contact person for certification bodies, notified bodies, auditors, and authorities
• Establishment of mechanisms for performance monitoring, reporting, and corrective actions in the areas of quality, regulatory, and information security
• Promotion of quality awareness and continuous improvement across all departments, with a special focus on supplier management and supplier quality
• Development and maintenance of policies, procedures, controls, and assessment mechanisms to support ISO 27001 and related information security frameworks
• Regular reporting to management, active participation in the divisional quality management teams of other locations, as well as maintenance of interfaces to the group level
• Support of occupational safety (5–10 % of working time) regarding safety programs, employee information, and improvement suggestions, as well as coordination between division and location; the overall responsibility for EHS remains with the designated functions

Your profile

• Diploma in quality management or Master's degree; alternatively Bachelor's degree (with corresponding professional experience)
• At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or in quality management in a regulated environment
• Sound knowledge of the relevant standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
• Training as a safety assistant or higher qualification according to Swiss regulations
• Expert knowledge in QMS software and SAP modules as well as proficient use of MS Office
• Business fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1)
