Syntegon Packaging Systems AG in Beringen (SH) is a company of the Syntegon group and offers a complete portfolio of packaging solutions for the confectionery and food industry. At this site, more than 700 employees develop and produce innovative and customized packaging and handling systems for demanding high-performance applications.

What awaits you:

As a competent and loyal ambassador of our company, you will commission packaging machines and installations internally and then at our customers' sites around the world. The ideal position to start your career after your studies and acquire international experience that will open many opportunities for advancement within our company.

• You are primarily responsible for the internal and external commissioning of packaging machines (hardware and software). The range of tasks goes from installation to testing, including fine-tuning of the software and the acceptance of our complex machines.
• During service and troubleshooting interventions, you know how to quickly locate problems and, with the support of the technical departments, develop solutions.
• You contribute to the optimization and development of complex packaging machines.
• The instruction and training of customer personnel, both internally and externally, in German and English, completes this unusual and stimulating task.
• International travel represents approximately 40 %. Assembly missions generally last between 3 and 8 weeks.

What you bring:

• You possess professional technical training as well as an FH engineering degree or TS technician in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• You have knowledge in programming programmable logic controllers (PLC) and practical experience in automation and/or electrical engineering.
• As a resilient and traveling team player, you demonstrate improvisation and boldness for unconventional solutions.
• You possess team spirit, communication skills and a sensitivity to other countries and cultures.
• An autonomous, responsible and solution-oriented way of working as well as fluency in German and English are indispensable for professional relationships with our international customers.
