Das Bürgerliches Waisenhaus Basel is an institution of the Bürgergemeinde der Stadt Basel. The pedagogical offerings include six residential shared living groups, a transitional group and supervised living, as well as complementary services in the field of work agogics. The offering goes beyond the residential sector. For example, the Waisenhaus offers Kita places at four different locations, as well as the Tagesfamilien and Elternberatung Basel-Stadt.

We are looking for, as of immediately or by arrangement, a

Accounting Employee 80% (f,m, d)

Area of responsibility:

• Accounts receivable accounting for residential pedagogy incl. dunning management
• General accounts receivable accounting incl. dunning management
• Deputy for the accounts receivable accounting of the Kitas
• Written and telephone contacts with authorities, groups, parents and clients
• Banking area in the financial accounting: booking, reconciliation, e-banking etc.
• General accounting and administrative work
• Collaboration on closings

Requirements:

• Commercial basic training or corresponding professional experience
• Flair for numbers, conscientious, efficient and careful way of working
• Proficient German in speaking and writing
• Team spirit, open personality who feels comfortable in a lively 6-person office
• Good MS-Office knowledge
