Main duties

• Execution of thermal insulation and waterproofing work on civil, industrial, and commercial buildings.
• Installation of bituminous membranes, tar paper, and slate membranes.
• Application and welding of synthetic membranes in PVC, TPO, and Sarnafil.
• Realization of waterproofing on flat roofs, terraces, balconies, foundations, and underground works.
• Application of polyurethane, epoxy, and PMMA waterproofing resins.
• Preparation of substrates and surface treatment before the installation of waterproofing systems.
• Construction and installation of sheet metal cladding and finishes for roofing and waterproofing details.
• Identification and repair of water infiltrations and sealing defects.
• Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions on existing roofs and waterproofing.
• Use of specific equipment and machinery for welding and membrane installation.
• Reading and interpretation of technical plans and construction drawings.
• Collaboration with the site manager and other skilled workers.
• Compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.

Required skills

• Proven experience as a Tinsmith Insulator.
• Excellent knowledge of waterproofing and insulation techniques.
• Experience in the installation of bituminous membranes, tar paper, and slate membranes.
• Ability to install and weld synthetic membranes such as Sarnafil or equivalent.
• Experience in the application of resin waterproofing systems.
• Ability to work independently on civil and industrial roofs.
• Good reading of technical drawings.
• Precision, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Disposition for working at heights and outdoors.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Preferred requirements

• Professional training in the sector of tinsmithing, roofing, or waterproofing.
• Experience gained in the Swiss market.
• Certificates for working at heights and use of Category III PPE.
• Category B driving license and own vehicle.
• Immediate availability.
