As part of our Sigma Temporaire Industrie & Technique department, we are pleased to collaborate with several renowned companies located in Valais and active in the sectors of precision mechanics, machining, manufacturing industry, and advanced technologies. In order to meet their needs, we are actively looking for a:

Polymécanicien CFC (M/F)

Your responsibilities:

• Setting up, commissioning, and operating CNC machines (turning, milling, or machining centers)
• Manufacturing single parts, prototypes, or small and medium series
• Reading and interpreting technical plans and mechanical drawings
• Performing dimensional and quality controls of produced parts
• Programming and correcting CNC programs according to production needs
• Selection and preparation of cutting tools
• Optimization of manufacturing times and machining processes
• Participation in routine maintenance and first-level maintenance of equipment
• Compliance with tolerances, quality requirements, and manufacturing procedures
• Close collaboration with technical offices, production, and quality control

Your profile:

• CFC as a Polymécanicien or equivalent training
• Proven experience in conventional and/or CNC machining
• Excellent mastery of reading mechanical plans
• Good knowledge of turning, milling, and metrology techniques
• Mastery of measuring and control instruments (caliper, micrometer, dial indicator, etc.)
• Knowledge of CNC programming, a real asset
• Autonomous, rigorous, and quality-oriented person
• Analytical mind and sense of precision
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Driver's license and vehicle, an asset
