For one of our clients, we are looking for a

Senior embedded software engineer (Firmware / Zephyr RTOS). ##

As a senior developer, you will join a dynamic team working on a strategic project. You will work alongside a developer and a lead developer to contribute to the development and optimization of firmware for new cutting-edge products.
The platform is built around an Alif Semiconductor (Arm Cortex-M) microcontroller as the main processor, combined with an Infineon wireless chip for RF connectivity (Wi-Fi / Bluetooth LE).

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain firmware in C/C++, primarily on Zephyr RTOS.
• Work on Alif Semiconductor Arm Cortex-M microcontrollers, including bootloader management and firmware updates.
• Integrate and interface Infineon wireless chipsets (Wi-Fi, BLE) with the main processor.
• Design and implement drivers for various peripherals, such as user interface components (buttons, capacitive sensors, analog sensors, haptic actuators).
• Develop and integrate communication interfaces: Wi-Fi, UART, and proprietary protocols on serial interfaces (SPI).
• Contribute to firmware testing, test automation, and CI pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure seamless integration and optimal firmware performance.

Required experience:

• More than 3 years of experience in embedded software / firmware development in C/C++
• Expert knowledge of Zephyr RTOS
• Solid hands-on experience with Arm Cortex-M microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, Nordic nRF, Alif), including bootloaders (e.g., MCUboot)
• Good knowledge of communication interfaces and protocols: Wi-Fi, UART, SPI
• Experience integrating wireless chipsets or modules with a host microcontroller
• Experience in test automation for embedded systems
• Hands-on experience with CI tools and processes
• Experience using automation tools on Windows and Linux platforms
• Good understanding of software development best practices
• Strong conviction and experience with Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a service-oriented collaborative spirit
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts
• Interpersonal skills: authenticity, openness, collaboration, humility, curiosity, and propensity for action

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Alif Semiconductor microcontrollers (Ensemble / Balletto families)
• Experience with Infineon wireless solutions (AIROC Wi-Fi / Bluetooth)
• Knowledge of the BLE protocol
• Experience in testing Human Interface Devices (HID)
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory
• ISTQB certification

Languages:

• Proficiency in English and French (oral and written)

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
