Die Perspektive Thurgau is a strong non-profit organization for health promotion, prevention, and counseling. It is organized as a municipal association and works on behalf of the Thurgau municipalities. Based on federal and cantonal legislation, it fulfills the joint tasks of the canton and municipalities. For the Mother and Father Counseling department, we are looking for the following starting January 1, 2027, or by arrangement, for the regions of Kreuzlingen and/or Romanshorn (possibly Weinfelden):

Consultation Specialist - Mother and Father Counseling 60 to 80 %
(Early Childhood Consultant)

Your tasks:

• Advising and accompanying parents and children from 0-5 years in matters of care, nutrition, development, education, and prevention
• Cooperation with intercultural mediators for the support and counseling of families from other cultures
• Networking and cooperation with other professionals and institutions in the field of family and young children
• Electronic file management of consultations (MVB 4 program)
• Maintaining time and performance recording

Your profile:

• Dipl. Nursing professional with a focus on pediatrics or current, many years of professional experience in the infant and toddler area, Dipl. Midwife HF/FH, Dipl. Childcare Professional HF, Dipl. Social Pedagogue HF/Dipl. Social Pedagogue HF
• Mother and Father Counseling (NDS) or Early Childhood Consultant HFP is an advantage, or the willingness to complete the Higher Professional Examination
• Experience in dealing with mothers and fathers during and after the postpartum period as well as infants and children up to the 5th birthday
• High transcultural competence
• Sociable personality with a winning, confident appearance
• Good communication skills as well as organizational skills
• Good MS-Office knowledge
• Driver's license Cat. B, private vehicle
