Job Description ##

You assess the condition of tires. If a tire is worn or damaged, you repair or replace it. You inform customers about various offers and their costs. If the customer wishes, you convert cars from normal to wide tires. Once you have mounted new tires, you inflate them and clean the rims, tires and, upon request, the entire vehicle. You also perform smaller service tasks, such as measuring oil level and refilling oil or other fluids. The professional storage of tires as well as the maintenance of tools and machines is also part of your work area.

Tire practitioners work in specialized tire trade and in larger car workshops. The weekly working time is normally 42 hours, but it can be temporarily higher when winter sets in. Reliable tire practitioners are in demand on the labor market. The technology around the wheel is becoming increasingly complex and requires trained workers.

• Completed training as a Tire Practitioner/EBA
• Compliance with safety and manufacturer regulations regarding tread depth, speed and weight index
• You work accurately and with concentration, as mounting errors can have serious consequences
• Teamwork skills
• Good physical condition
• Driving license category B
• Service-oriented personality
