Your contribution

• Prepare orders for various types of material and transmit them to troops in service as well as to the relevant professional sectors (transport/logistics)
• Manage the reception, storage, and physical shipment of different types of material as well as general army material using the SAP IT system
• Independently handle requisitions and work orders
• Verify the functional status of the stored material
• Manage stocks according to the applicable rules and instructions

What distinguishes you

• Federal Certificate of Capacity as a logistics clerk or an equivalent qualification
• Driving licenses for categories B and CE and a forklift license recognized by SUVA
• Sense of responsibility and interpersonal skills, team spirit, flexibility in terms of hours, travel, and tasks
• Strong ability to organize and execute work in a rapid, conscientious, and independent manner
• Good active knowledge of at least two official languages and good IT knowledge, particularly of SAP

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
