Quality Controller Aesthetic Case Finishing [M/F/X]

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and aesthetic inspection of watch case components: bridges, bezels, case backs, etc.
• Identify any surface imperfections (scratches, impacts, polishing, satin finishing, hammering, or sandblasting defects), with the naked eye or using a loupe.
• Evaluate the conformity of parts according to established quality criteria and report any non-conformities.
• Proceed with the removal of temporary protections (varnish, lacquers) while ensuring the preservation of the integrity and appearance of the components.
• Record and guarantee the traceability of the inspection operations performed.
• Contribute to the evolution of inspection methods and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with cleanliness, organization, and quality requirements within the production environment.

Profile

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in aesthetic inspection in watchmaking, ideally on case components.
• You know watch components, the different surface finishes, and the aesthetic requirements specific to high-end products.
• You are comfortable with visual inspection tools as well as common measuring instruments.
• You know how to read and interpret simple technical drawings.
• You are able to identify and analyze aesthetic defects in order to rule on the conformity of a part.
• You have very good visual acuity and are recognized for your precision, meticulousness, and concentration.
• Autonomous and responsible, you also enjoy teamwork.
