Strong in its commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 outpatient units, mobilizing more than 250 employees for this purpose. The Pôle de compétences éducatives en milieu scolaire (PEMS) is a body designated by the DGEJ to manage and coordinate socio-educational services for a school region, notably the social educators in school settings (ESS) and the modules for temporary and alternative activities to schooling (MATAS). As part of its missions within the PEMS of the Lavaux-Riviera region, Fondation Enfance Emma Couvreu is advertising a position as: Unit Manager at 80% --------------------------- Our PEMS services The PEMS coordinates two complementary systems: the ESS, which intervene in the 12 school establishments of the Lavaux-Riviera region with students encountering difficulties in their school career, in collaboration with their families, the school establishments, and network partners; and the MATAS, which combine school management and educational support for ten students enrolled in ordinary education presenting a risk of school breakdown. Job Description The unit manager (RU) is, by delegation from the Sector Management, the daily guarantor of the institutional line and the educational concept. He/she ensures the management and coordination of the ESS educational teams and the MATAS pedagogo-educational teams, ensures the quality of the services delivered, and supports professionals in the analysis and monitoring of situations. He/she accompanies teams in complex situations, promotes the coherence of interventions, and ensures the application of clinical decisions and institutional directives. The RU also ensures the link between the teams and the Sector Management. He/she represents the needs of the teams, participates in coordination with the management of school establishments, and ensures the proper organizational, administrative, and logistical functioning of the units. His/her function implies a regular presence with the teams, availability for professional support, as well as active participation in the evolution of the systems. Your profile * Hold a HES or ES diploma as a social educator or a title deemed equivalent * Several years of institutional clinical experience with minors * Curriculum enriched by continuing education directly related to clinical work with minors and families * Good knowledge of socio-educational intervention in an outpatient setting * Good knowledge of the Vaud school environment and the local psychosocial network * Experience in a position of responsibility with staff management would be a plus * Natural leadership, of a diplomatic character and open-minded * Very good analytical, organizational, coordination, and management skills as well as great writing skills * Driver's license and private vehicle indispensable We offer you A pleasant working environment, a dynamic team in an organization ready to value creative talents, as well as to take on important challenges.
